I would like a text message notification when the MFI processor stops running
I would like a notification via text message as well as email when the MFI Processor stops running. Lately the MFI processor has been dropping out at night (power outages etc) when emails are not monitored. It would enable us to fix the issue before guests call us that they are not able to get through the boom gates.

Simplified Replace Guest Tool for Group Reservations
Currently, when adding guest names to room numbers as part of a group, we can use either the Quick Add, Replace Guest, or set primary methods to change from the original names on the group res.
The Quick add method is great, love it. However, we still need to delete each of the original names in the group res (usually the booker's name or the group name).
Suggestion:
Have tick boxes next to each name so users can simply tick the old names to be deleted at one go, rather than having to delete them individually.3 votesThank you for your suggestion on a way we can improve RMS.

Option to Delete Tokens on the Receipt Screen
It would be more convenient and effiecient to be able to delete an old token whilst receipting in the Accomm Account
Whilst receipting in Accom acc and choosing existing token but token has now been replaced by the customer, it would be very convenient to be able to delete token straight away rather than trying to remember afterwards one finished receipting or having to go out of receipting to delete token. It would be alot more secure and efficient to be able to do it whilst receipting

Add Stock Sub Category as a Build Option on the Stock Control Report
I would like to be able to print Stock Control Reports by Sub Category as well as Stock Category
TO be able to sort by Sub Categories would allow easier manual inventories of Stock categories instead of entire departments

When completed REPORTS-8273 will enable building the Stock Control Margin Report by both Stock Category & Sub Category.

Move Location of "Book Via Interactive Map" button
When using the mobile version of the RMS IBE website, you do not see the "Book via Interactive Map" button unless you tap on the "Tap to modify reservation" option at the top. Customers have a hard time finding this unless we instruct them or they stumble across it on accident. Customers love to pick their site and this would make it a lot easier for them if the button was more visible when the results first loaded.

Rates on stop sell to not show within a booking under tariff type
Rates on stop sell to not show within a booking under tariff type.
Currently if a rate has a stop sell on it still shows within the booking itself.
You can click + when creating a new booking which resolves this issue, however if you ever need to make an amendment to any bookings the rate type will remain in the booking under tariff type even though it has a stop sell on. This can cause confusion with staff.2 votes -
QR code generator in Form Letters
Under Setup → Correspondence → Form Letters, it would be very valuable to have a QR code generator on the template / WYSIWYG editor. We can add images, links, and interactive elements, but not QR codes. We want to take one of the merge fields and turn it into a QR code.

Add Security Profile to SMS Templates
Currently, any user can override an SMS template and enter any text they wish. Request to add a security profile setting for the ability to modify SMS templates from a reservation and In/Out Movements screen so that only certain users can modify pre-existing templates.

We would like to check if RMS has any feature or restriction that can ensure residents upload a clear passport image during the online pre-r
Specifically, is there a way to make the system prompt users to position their passport exactly within a camera frame or guide box before uploading? We have encountered several cases where the uploaded passport images were unclear, making it difficult for our team to verify the documents.

Tracking for Email Validation
Currently once you request for a batch of emails to be validated from the EDM/Report Writer section, there is no tracking so you can see the progress of this. Especially when validating a large number of emails (10k plus) this can take up to 4 hours and RMS obviously times out in that time frame.
Once you log back in you cannot see where the validation progress is up to until you get a completion email.
There was two times last week where the validation process must have crashed and never received a notification that it failed and needed to…2 votes -
Alert Users When Another User Is Editing the Same Reservation
Currently, multiple users can edit the same reservation simultaneously without any warnings. This often leads to conflicting changes or accidental overwrites, causing confusion and double-entry issues.

Add Scheduled Automated SMS/Email Reminders for Bookings
It would be extremely helpful if RMS allowed us to schedule automatic SMS or email reminders to guests at set intervals before arrival or after departure. For example, sending a “Your booking is in 3 days” message with check-in details, or a “Thank you for staying” message with a feedback survey.
Currently, we have to manually send these reminders, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. Automated reminders would improve efficiency, ensure consistent communication, and provide guests with a better overall experience.

The ability to customise if a field is mandatory for a specific category
Certain booking types require additional information such as reference numbers from 3rd party sites, the ability to make a field mandatory for a specific booking category would be helpful in ensuring all required data is entered.

Make invoices more editable eg add room type & remove room number
We are writing to request the addition of a feature that allows us to edit guest invoices or invoice settings.
For us specifically the addition of room types and the removal of room numbers from guest invoices.
Visible room numbers have been causing complications, particularly with guest expectations prior to arrival. This is especially problematic for group bookings and events such as weddings, where guests often assume that the room number shown is fixed and confirmed. This has led to disputes and logistical challenges on-site when changes to room allocations are necessary due to operational needs.

Include a tokenization option on the receipt screen.
On the receipt screen, provide the option to tokenize the credit card when it is used for the first time. It would save one or two steps, particularly when dealing with inexperienced operators or when you're pressed for time to accept the payment. Tokenization would eliminate the need for a unique action.

Automate filling the 'reason for visit' as business/work field when a Company is selected
Would love to see functionality that connects the Company Field in a reservation with the Reason-For-Visit field so that it could automatically fill based upon a set action
For example, one of our reasons for visit is Business/Work, and often this is tied to the use of the Company field.
There should be a way to have a rule that says: if there is a Company entered, then the reason for visit is Business/Work ; and this fills out the field without having to select anything in the drop down.

Adding Nationality column in In/Out movements (Checked out)
It would be good to add the Nationality column as part of client's details who checked out. It's included in arriving and In House Client so why not in Checked out? It would be good to know the nationalities who booked with us in the past and can be used for geomarketing campaigns.

Really appreciate seeing all these helpful suggestions - great to know the community is actively sharing ways to improve RMS! I often watch tutorial and feature update videos, and using <a href="https://vidfrom.com/">Vidfrom.com</a> to convert them into YouTube MP3 files lets me listen while multitasking. Super handy when you’re trying to stay up to date!
