Need to have boomgate / access codes included on the in out report.
Access codes need to appear in the in-out movement report to assist parks in preparing arrival maps with relevant information.

Incremental Auths & Automatic Pre-Auth Release
It would useful if when a guest exceeds the pre-auth amount RMS will do an incremental auth and then complete it, rather than have to complete the full amount and then take a new payment for the additional amount.
It would also be useful if X days after departure any uncompleted pre-auths are automatically released.

"re-create rate" should be functional after first instance
Currently, if you re-create the rate, any subsequent re-create rate input will not work because rates are "locked" and in red. Need to be able to re-create the rate at any time to system defaults.

Add Scheduled Automated SMS/Email Reminders for Bookings
It would be extremely helpful if RMS allowed us to schedule automatic SMS or email reminders to guests at set intervals before arrival or after departure. For example, sending a “Your booking is in 3 days” message with check-in details, or a “Thank you for staying” message with a feedback survey.
Currently, we have to manually send these reminders, which is time-consuming and prone to errors. Automated reminders would improve efficiency, ensure consistent communication, and provide guests with a better overall experience.

Daily Reservation Report
We use the Daily Reservation Report each day to track reservation activity, particularly during slower periods. However, one limitation of this report is that it does not account for discount codes. If a discount is applied, the “Total Rate” shown at the end of the day still reflects the full, undiscounted amount.
As a result, anyone relying on this report for financial decisions—such as the marketing team—is unable to see the actual revenue impact of daily reservations.

Maximum length of stay restriction
It would be great to have a maximum length of stay. This is possible with the majority of OTAs; however, we encounter issues when inventory must be locked in place due to owner stays, accessibility or maintenance, making longer stays problematic.

Sundry Posting - Default to Quantity
When you are posting a sundry item it defaults to the price box instead of the quantity box. The price is set and very seldom do you have to change it but the quantity is changed often. People will buy 2 or more of something and currently you need to select quantity to change it from the default of 1. Could this be updated to default on quantity for more efficient charging?

How Are You Handling Multi-Property Reporting in RMS Cloud?
Hi everyone,
We’ve been using RMS Cloud for a few months now to manage multiple properties, and overall it's been a good experience. However, we’re starting to run into some limitations when it comes to consolidated reporting across multiple properties.
Specifically, I’m looking for insights or suggestions on:
How you generate reports that give you a snapshot across all properties (occupancy, revenue, performance, etc.)
Whether you’re using any third-party integrations or exporting data to tools like Power BI or Excel for deeper analysis
Any tips on configuring custom reports within RMS itself to simplify this process

Housekeeping reset "Yes" on extension doesn't change modified housekeeping schedules
Since RMS has "fixed" the bug of saying no on extension to not move the departure date, a lot of our guests who have their rooms extended and a specific schedule for their booking because of long stay etc. have had their departure clean missed. so now housekeeping doesnt get the task a lot of the time since we extend rooms so much - plus then when we extend rooms the prompt to reset housekeeping comes up we say no because we have a schedule specific to that guest for their extended stay.

clean status
In the Audit Trail, it would beneficial to view what Clean Status the room was when it was checked in to on the system. E.g. marked 'arrived' and clean status was 'dirty/clean/inspect'. This would help when identifying user error if a room was accidently checked into a dirty room.

Need group res creation possible even if "last minute rate" setting active
Need last minute rate setting active to prevent bookings from under current guests who rebook for following year. New update to RMS prevents ability to use the "+" button in an existing res to create a group res for next-year reservations with "last minute rate" setting active. Need in-house ability to make these group reservations. Current workaround is via the booking chart or adding existing res, but this is a pain.

Guest Search results should bring up reservation number/history on results page
When you look up someone under guest search it doesn't show their current reservation so you have to click on their info and then to history to get to it. Unnecessary. Also, should allow more customization for the fields that pop up on the search results.

Enhanced Multi-Property Dashboard with Cross-Property Reporting
As a user managing multiple properties within RMS Cloud, it would be incredibly helpful to have an enhanced multi-property dashboard that offers centralized access to cross-property reporting, real-time performance metrics, and combined occupancy data.
Currently, navigating between properties and manually pulling individual reports can be time-consuming. Having a unified view would improve operational efficiency and provide better insight for corporate-level management.

The Owner Bank Details field should be cleared of special characters.
In the Owners Bank Account field, disable the usage of special characters. Recently, we encountered an ABA file that kept failing to upload to the bank. We were simply receiving the error that a line included too many characters. We discovered one errant apostrophe after spending hours and hours removing the letters in this area. This character is not acceptable to the bank.

Remove Deposit field on account column
We would like to be able to remove the deposit and dep req by field from the account column as per phone conversation with your team it has nothing to do if they booking has been paid already or not. Apparently it will always show that amount even if paid which can be confustion for our reception team. It would be great in general to be able to adjust the account column to our needs.

Not allowing bookings to leave short undesirable vacancies
I recently booked event tickets on Ticketmaster and it wouldn't allow me to leave a single vacant seat.
I thought this would be valuable for accommodation so that at a time where a 1 night stay is not desired a booking won't be allowed to be made if it leaves a 1 night gap between it and the departure of the previous booking.
In a way it would be a dynamic software controlled closure to arrival/closure to departure which adapts depending upon the known minimum length of stay and the pre-existing bookings.1 vote -
Out of Service for individual Maintenance Tickets
It would be fantastic to have the ability to control which maintenance orders are included in the occupancy calculation and which ones are not.
Currently, you can switch it for the entire property, but for strata title, when a room is going in or out of the inventory pool it is traditionally made available to sell several weeks in advance to be able to start selling the room, however this starts to skew occupancy immediately.
Also useful for longer term renovations that should not be reported to STR.

categorise special events with a set colour
Would be good to be able to have a category for special events to chose, which would then associate a specific colour for it so it's easily identified at the top of a chart.
For example, school holidays are a grey colour; long weekends are a light purple.
Being able to categorise and have that set against a special event grouping would make it a more efficient use of that function for easy visibility for all users.

Automated annual expenses to owners
Would be great to have automated annual expense drop onto owner statements.
We already use the monthly frequency, and other options under EOM expenses, but it would be useful to have yearly as an option, as we manually do annual charges through the bulk charges function.

Housekeeping - departure block based on time
We currently have a departure block under Housekeeping for some properties that have longer cleaner, and it's not possible for a same day arrival.
It is an option to add another type departure block that would apply for all properties (whether owner or guest booking) when the departure time is after 12pm, it automatically puts in a departure block so that someone cannot arrive that same day, as it won't be serviced?
For example, an owner booking to 4pm, means a guest cannot arrive that day, and we are manually placing a cleaner block.
