RMS User Suggestions

RMS User Suggestions enables RMS customers to add new feature suggestions they would find of benefit as well as vote on suggestions made by other customers.

All feedback is actively monitored by RMS Product Development with the highest voted suggestions reviewed for inclusion in a future development cycle.

The more votes a suggestion receives by customers the sooner it goes for consideration into a future development cycle.

  1. Tariff Audit Report

    Hi Team,

    We would like to request for a report that would be able to identify any changes made in the tariff manager on any given day.

    We want to see an audit trail of Tariff Overrides, Tariff Adjustments, and Daily Bar changes that is created and deleted everyday.

    This has been asked by Auditors to make sure that we would be able to investigate any changes in the tariffs by a user access.

  2. ETD - Departures

    In/Out Movements
    Have in the Departures section a box with the Estimated Time of Departure (ETD), rather than the ETA.
    Then we can check if a late departure is arranged without having to go into each booking.

  3. Have icons for bedrooms and bathrooms on rooms/properties online

    Our business type is holiday homes and apartments. We would love to add to the Sleep icon (number of people) other icons for bedrooms, bathrooms etc to show up on the booking page for individual areas/properties.

  4. I would like 2nd deposits due to show on the Overdue Deposit List for Master Reservations.

    Currently if the RMS reservation is listed as Master, the 2nd deposit is not showing, nor does the individual reservations show up on the Overdue Deposit Report. Could we either have a) Individual reservations on overdue deposit report or b) master reservation on overdue deposit report.

  5. Exclude Fixed Reservations from Inventory for Channels

    I would like channel managers (booking.com) to look at fixed reservations and not include as available inventory for "Quote" reservations

    Currently booking.com does not look at FIXED reservations when looking at inventory for available nights. Booking.com will still allow a "Quote" reservation and disregards bookings that are fixed and cannot be moved.

  6. Out of order Notes to appear in owners portal (purple bar)

    The ability for Out of Order Notes to appear in the owners portal so owner can see why their property is marked as out of order For example: carpet steam cleaning, external pressure wash or gutter cleans, etc ...

  12. I would like the RMS IBE wording to be more customisable in regards to 'sleeps x' (amount of people)

    One of our properties is able to sell a cabin as a 1 or 2 bedroom.
    On the IBE we currently have the room type displayed as '1 or 2 bedroom spa chalet'.
    Underneath the room type name-it shows 'Sleeps 4'.
    This is correct if they book the 2 bedroom rate option, but it allows guests to also book 4 people into the 1 bedroom.
    I don't want to list the 2 room types seperately, which is why we have said 1 or 2 bedroom.

    If the wording could be changed to 'Sleeps up to 4' it would be clearer…

  13. Ability to click multiple messages in the message centre to archive or acknowledge

    There needs to be a way to be able to select multiple messages in the message centre to archive them or mark acknowledged, especially for those in the Online section relating to connection issues.

    I have multiple (thousands!) regarding a notification for 2 property ID's for our Agoda connection and they keep coming, with over 100 per day whilst I'm working through fixing the issue. I need to be able to remove these notifications (similar to filing multiple emails at once) so that it removes the clutter from the message centre, and reflects a true number for the notifications that…

  14. I would like an option to reactivate all expired scheduled reports at once

    When reports are set to expire in your message centre, you have to manually reactivate each one every 90 days. While reactivating the reports, sometimes it can load for up to a minute in between each reactivation.
    I had 209 reports to reactivate in one day and it took me over an hour.

    Also if a reports have completely deactivated and sits in the 'Inactive' drop down under 'Scheduled Reports', it flicks back to the main reports page every time you reactivate one. Then you have to go back into the inactive section to do each one.

  17. RMS Pay - Portal for Pay by Link Transaction Detail

    It would be very helpful to be able to see transaction details for Pay by Link transactions so we could see why a customer's payment failed. Currently the customer only gets a 'something went wrong' message so we end up getting calls as they think it's our system that has an issue. And we then need to contact RMS Support for more information.

    When this is supplied by RMS (as they have access) the reasons supplied can be the following, suspected fraud, insufficient funds or authentication failed. It would be great if we could see this information so we could…

  18. Add Dynamic Availability to create a scarcity of rooms and sense of urgency to book

    There is nothing in sales quite like a sense of scarcity (thus urgency) to sell a product.

    I suggest a new inventory feature to be created of Dynamic Availability where:
    - out of total availability, a hotel can define the number/percentage of rooms in each category that are available for initial sale at any one time; and,
    - as guests book, a hotel defines the proportion of their inventory that is released for sale (drip fed) at any time (subject to total rooms)

  19. Add “Auto‑Adjust Seasonal Rate Validity” Feature for RMS Cloud

    I’d like to suggest a new feature that would allow users to set automatic seasonal rate validity periods directly within RMS Cloud. Currently, rate access for corporate or negotiated rates remains active until manually removed, which can be time‑consuming when managing changing seasonal agreements and negotiated rates. By enabling a start and end date for rate validity, the system could automatically enable or disable rates based on the defined period, reducing manual updates and improving accuracy in rate management.   20. How do you handle guest feedback that comes in after checkout in RMS Cloud?

    Hi everyone,

    I’m looking for some advice from other RMS Cloud users. We often receive guest feedback a few days after checkout (usually by email or review platforms), and I’m not sure what the best way is to record or link this feedback inside RMS Cloud.

    Do you log it manually under the guest profile, attach it to the reservation, or manage it outside the system entirely? I’d like to keep things organized without creating duplicate records. Any practical workflows or tips would be really helpful.
